We were so hungry that no photos were to be taken. Happily, Imonay didn't let us down. We have been meaning to try this place for a while, and it was wonderful. I had the ground perilla and tofu stew with galbi on the side, m'lady had the kimchi jigae. Both of us were extremely satisfied with our meals. We haven't been satisfied since returning from Seoul a few weeks ago
I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for more traditional, countryside flavours, this is the place to go! -

I almost teared up.
I came here by myself and ordered the kimchi fried rice like I usually do. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised... (I mean I WAS ECSTATIC). For $9 I got a hot plate of kimchi fried rice with a few slices of pork and mushroom with a beautiful fried egg when I was expecting a plate of kimchi fried rice without any meat (as I have had before). Side dishes were amazing (as usual), service was excellent, and prices, the prices are INCREDIBLEEEEEEEEE!!! I highly recommend you try Imonay if you are ever in the koreatown area! -

Extremely affordable and such good food. Really a value for money. I ordered the Kimchi stew, while I did wish it was a little spicier it was still excellent and hit the spot. Banchan was really good too, enjoyed their kimchi the most. Can't wait to be back!

Affordable vegetarian Korean style "sushi" Gimbap. It is a Korean dish made from cooked rice rolled in gim--dried sheets of nori seaweed! The best part about Imonay is that it is $3 and freshly made! The vegetarian gimbap consist of avocado, carrots, pickled turnip and other veggie goodness! Not only is it cheaper than store bought gimbap! It is also warm! Yum! This is probably the most affordable meal you can find in the hood!

It's a little family-run restaurant with barebones decor. I liked the quality of bibimbap, especially considering that they give you a choice of beef, pork, chicken or octopus. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but I imagine it's pretty tasty as well. The sides were not my favourite ones, but it's ok. The service was good, but I can imagine with a full house that woman must be pretty busy serving everyone at once by herself.
Overall, the food was good and that's what counts for me.
